It's that time again for our open meeting and update. Gaia Gathering is seeking volunteers to help with local fundraising events and the Conference as a whole. This is a great way to both get involved with the community and plant something special onto a CV.

On the agenda this meeting is:
1) Update on planning
2) Beat the Winter Blues concert
3) Brainstorming for conference programming
4) Current volunteer help needs
If you want to attend, and you're in the Montreal area, the meeting will be held on Tuesday January 25th at 7pm at Concordia Multifaith Chaplaincy (2090 Rue Mackay, Montreal, QC).

Gaia Gathering is the Canadian National Pagan Conference(CNPC). Each year, it travels to a different host city over the May longweekend. Past host cities include Edmonton, Halifax, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Vancouver.From May 20-23rd, 2011, it will be coming to Montreal! This is a great opportunity toshowcase our city and our paganisms, as well as to meet other Pagans from across the county, often from traditions and paths not represented in Montreal. Le temps est venu de nous rencontrer à nouveau pour se tenir au courant des nouveautés concernant Gaia Gathering. Nous sommes toujours à la recherche de bénévoles qui aimeraient nous aider avec les événements locaux de levée de fonds et avec la conférence en général. C’est une belle façon de vous impliquer dans la communauté et d’avoir quelque chose de spécial à ajouter à votre cv!
Durant la prochaine rencontre, l’ordre du jour est le suivant :
· Mise à jour de la planification
· Concert « Chassez les blues de l’hiver »
· Tempête d’idées au sujet de la programmation de la conférence
· Revue des besoins immédiats en matière de bénévolat

Si vous souhaitez vous joindre à nous et que vous habitez la région de Montréal, la rencontre se tiendra mardi le 25 janvier à 19h, à l’aumônerie multi fois de l’Université Concordia (2090, rue Mackay, Montréal).
Si vous ne pouvez pas être présents (ou si vous résidez à l’extérieur de Montréal) mais que vous désirez quand même offrir votre aide, envoyez un courriel à Scarlet, notre coordonatrice des bénévoles (scarletcougar@gmail.com), en prenant le soin de mentionner ce que vous pouvez offrir ainsi que vos coordonnées (courriel et numéro de téléphone).
Gaia Gathering est une conférence païenne nationale. Chaque année, elle se tient durant la longue fin de semaine de mai, dans une ville canadienne. Dans le passé, les villes d’Edmonton, Halifax, Winnipeg, Ottawa et Vancouver ont accueilli la conférence. Du 20 au 23 mai 2011, Gaia Gathering s’arrête à Montréal! C’est une grande opportunité pour nous de présenter notre ville et nos pratiques païennes, en plus de pouvoir rencontrer des païens de partout à travers le pays, souvent issus de différentes traditions et voies qu’on ne retrouve pas à Montréal.
